The Origin
The Snap started with a problem that every working dad in a competitive fantasy league understands. There were guys in the league with more time. Guys who watched film on Saturday morning while the rest of us were at soccer practice. Guys who had the waiver wire locked down by Tuesday because they spent Monday night combing through snap count data.
That's not a fair fight. Time is the one resource you can't buy more of when you have a job, kids, and a household to run. So instead of more time, the answer was a better system.
The Snap built an AI pipeline that ingests every data point that matters in fantasy football: snap counts, target share, injury practice participation, matchup ratings, usage trends, depth chart shifts. All of it processed continuously through a decision model trained on what actually moves the needle in season-long and daily fantasy formats.
The system worked. The league championship that year paid for a family vacation. The decision that followed was straightforward: build it into something other competitive managers could use.
